Our Story

How it all started?

The business idea started in 2015 by our founder and CEO, Michelle, when she initially launched Michelle's Luxury Silk.

After a couple of years in Sydney, Michelle was looking to replace her silk pillowcase but couldn't find any good quality products within an affordable price range. Having slept on a silk pillowcase for years that her grandmother made her and experiencing all the benefits silk had to offer her skin, hair and health, she decided to source her own silk pillowcase. Shortly afterwards, she established her first online store, Michelle's Luxury Silk, and started selling her product online, at markets, various gift stores and beauty salons across Australia and New Zealand.

Our Goal?

To make this amazing product, with all its health and beauty benefits, available to everyone to experience. Everybody should be able to experience the benefits that natural silk offers your skin and hair. Whether it is to protect your hair against breakage, avoid face creases after a good nights sleep, or protecting your sensitive skin against allergies, this product will be able to help.

Launching a business that we are very passionate about, was never a difficult decision, only a matter of when, rather then why.

Where does the name LOVESILK come from?

We absolutely LOVE our products and so do our customers. One of the phrases we get most from our customers "I love my silk pillowcase!"... LOVESILK.
